The Soft Edit does not intentionally collect personal data through user accounts, comments, checkout, or contact forms. If you contact The Soft Edit by email, your email address and message content will be processed only to respond to your request.

Newsletter

The Soft Edit does not currently operate a newsletter sign-up form. If a newsletter provider is added later, this privacy policy will be updated before email addresses are collected.

Affiliate links and external shops

The Soft Edit may include affiliate links to external partner shops or platforms. When you click an affiliate link, you are redirected to a third-party website. That external partner or shop may process personal data according to its own privacy policy.

Affiliate networks or partner shops may use tracking technologies to attribute clicks or purchases. The Soft Edit does not process payments, manage checkout, or sell products directly. Before buying from an external shop, you should review that shop's privacy policy and terms.

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand page views, referrers, countries, devices, and general website usage. The site does not currently use retargeting pixels, embedded ad scripts, or social tracking widgets as part of its own editorial pages.

Vercel may also process technical data needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, request data, browser information, and access times. Processing is used for website delivery, security, performance, and aggregate analytics.

Fonts and media

The site uses optimized web fonts through the Next.js font system and local image files in the project. Site images should be owned, generated for the brand, or properly licensed for editorial website use.

Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may process technical access data such as IP address, date and time of access, requested files, referrer, browser, and operating system for security and delivery of the website.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability, and complaint to a supervisory authority, depending on the processing context.

Future updates

This policy should be updated when new tools are added, including a newsletter provider, ecommerce features, advertising tools, embedded media, or community features.
